I was really nervous about Van because, well, he wasn’t the most likable guy in Lucas. But OMG did I fall in love with him and this book. Van had some major grump going on, but underneath it all he was amazing.
Series: Cold Fury Hockey
Sawyer Bennett is one of those authors whose work I always enjoy. Lucas was no exception, even if I kinda wanted to shake sense into both characters at times. There was a lot of back and forth, but ultimately I liked where everything ended up. It was a good, solid read that totally fed my need for some hockey romance.
Happy Wednesday! It’s time for a midweek reading round up, as I talk about what I’m currently reading, what I just finished and what I’ve added to my TBR in this week’s WWW Wednesday post!
An unofficial goal of my Tackle My TBR Challenge is to actually review the books I read. I did a good job of reading the books in January, but failed at the reviewing aspect… until now. With that, I give you an all-challenge-related edition of Minute Reviews!

I don’t know how Sawyer Bennett does it, but somehow each new book in her Cold Fury Hockey series finds a way to be better than the last. And, let’s face it, it was an incredible series from the very start! I don’t like to […]
I’ve been waiting anxiously to see what would happen to Zack after the accident that took his girlfriend and the mother of his child away from him in Garrett. I figured this would be an emotional read and it was, but not exactly for the […]
Sawyer Bennett’s Cold Fury series is quickly becoming one of my favorite sports romance series of the moment. I’ve always been partial to football players, but she’s making me think perhaps I need to check out some more hockey players. Because, seriously, I love her […]
I love sports romance books, but until now I’ve stuck mainly with football-centric ones. It might be that I’ve been disappointed by other (*cough* baseball *cough*) books in the past or because football is my favorite sport. It might be all of the above. But, […]
