I’m introducing a new review feature on the blog today — Reviewing the Unreviewed. This inaugural post features books I read waaaaay back in 2019.
Author: Kennedy Ryan
It takes a special author to get me to pick up the first book in a duet before the second is pubbed. Kennedy Ryan is that author. The Kingmaker was amazing.
Alright. Hook Shot. Holy crap. I know Kennedy is a total goddess and she has the power to break me — and put me back together again — with her words. But whoa. This book.
Block Shot was ahhhmazing. I’m convinced Kennedy Ryan is incapable of writing anything less. Also? I’m kicking myself for letting it siton my TBR this long.
When I finished reading Grip, I was satisfied. I didn’t know that I necessarily needed more of Grip and Bristol. I was happy with how things wrapped up in Grip. Plus I was a little worried what kind of angst or drama would come their way in a second full-length book.
This book, y’all. After the events at the end of Flow, I suspected it would be a more difficult read. But, I had no idea what all it was going to put me through. Be forewarned, my review will likely be (at least vaguely) spoilery so if you’ve not yet read this book and want to go in blind, you might want to skip this.
