Oh wow, Kathleen. What did you just do to me? And how do I write a review that does Be the Girl justice?
Author: K.A. Tucker
Y’all, I loved The Simple Wild. I loved it so freaking hard. So much so that I’m not even sure I can put all the things it made me feel into words. At this point — days after finishing — I can barely think about it without getting all teary eyed.
This book, y’all. Can you say addictive and unexpected? It was both to me. Keep Her Safe totally kept me guessing nearly until the very end.
Happy Wednesday! It’s time for a midweek reading round up, as I talk about what I’m currently reading, what I just finished and what I’ve added to my TBR.
It’s that time again… time for the W… W… W… Wednesday meme! The original meme was good, but I’m a moody reader who doesn’t stick to a schedule, so I had a tough time with the “reading next” question each week. Problem solved! My girl […]
Aside from my teen years, when I devoured any and all R.L. Stine/Christopher Pike/etc. type mystery/thriller/suspense books, I’ve never really been a fan of the genre. I don’t love being scared. Ok, that’s a lie. I do in the moment. It’s afterwards, when I’m lying […]
Surviving Ice was of the “read in one sitting” variety for me. It grabbed me right from the very start and there wasn’t a chance I was stopping until I finished it. I loved Ivy and Sebastian both, so I was as gripped by their […]
I settled in for a little K.A. Tucker binge read about a week ago. Somehow, I’d missed reading Becoming Rain, even though I had a review copy. (Major fail on my part.) I devoured it and loved it, so I decided to keep going to […]
Why oh WHY did I wait so long to read this book?! Seriously… why? I have no excuse. I loved Burying Water. So much, in fact, that I read it twice! I was over the moon when I got an early copy of this book […]
Ok, so bear with me here. I’ve actually read Burying Water twice, but this is my first time reviewing it. Prior to its release, I read an eBook version but life got in the way and I didn’t have a chance to write my review. […]
Days after finishing it, I’m still in absolute awe over In Her Wake. I knew Trent’s story would be painful, but I really didn’t expect it to be as hard to read as it was at times. I love Trent. I have since he first […]
K.A. Tucker’s Ten Tiny Breaths series has introduced us to a myriad of interesting characters who are all a little broken in their own way. I’ve been hopelessly hooked on the characters, their relationships and Kathleen’s writing since I first picked up Ten Tiny Breaths […]
