I can’t lie, the first thing that caught my attention about One Last Time was the cover. I fell in love with it when I began seeing it all over social media and I promptly added the book to my wishlist. It wasn’t long before I made time to dive right on in and read it in a weekend.
Confession: I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Misadventures of a City Girl when I started it. I was a bit afraid it would be more sex scenes than actual character development and storyline. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Happy Wednesday! It’s time for a midweek reading round up, as I talk about what I’m currently reading, what I just finished and what I’ve added to my TBR.
It’s been AGES since I read — or honestly even thought about — the On Dublin Street series and characters. I was so excited to see Samantha Young was adding to the series with On Hart’s Boardwalk.
In this week’s Tell Me Something Tuesday, I’m talking about the pressure to review all the books — and in a timely manner!
When I finished reading Grip, I was satisfied. I didn’t know that I necessarily needed more of Grip and Bristol. I was happy with how things wrapped up in Grip. Plus I was a little worried what kind of angst or drama would come their way in a second full-length book.
It’s the start of a new week that means a new Monday Musts post! Are you ready to see what I’m calling a Must Read, Must Listen and Must See this week?
This book, y’all. After the events at the end of Flow, I suspected it would be a more difficult read. But, I had no idea what all it was going to put me through. Be forewarned, my review will likely be (at least vaguely) spoilery so if you’ve not yet read this book and want to go in blind, you might want to skip this.
I’m a big fan of the TBB Asks prompts because they’re something different than what I usually post. Spring is one of my favorite seasons, so this one was particularly fun.
Oh hey, it’s the start of a new month! Guess that means it’s time for a quick recap of the last one. Keep reading to learn more about my bookish (and otherwise) from the previous month.
