Five Things Friday

TGIF, y’all! I’m so happy it’s Friday and that I get to share my mini weekly recap with you. Keep reading to see some of my new books and what was keeping me busy this week!

If you’ve been visiting my blog for a while now, you might know that Five Things Friday was born out of a desire to include more of ME on my blog. I was writing about a new topic each week, but honestly, that got kinda old. It was hard to come up with something new each week. You know what that means — it was time to mix things up a bit. So, my current iteration of FTF was born.

NEW TO MY QUEUE

Sidelined On Thin Ice Only a Breath Apart

Two

FAVORITE BOOK OF THE WEEK

The one You Fight For

The One You Fight For was a great conclusion to this series, which was one of my favorites of last year. Sweet, sexy and emotional. It, much like the others in the series, gave me lots to think about.

WHEN I WASN’T READING

I’ve not had as much reading time as I hoped I would this week, but I made the most of the time I did find. Between watching football and driving back to Virginia after break, I was busy the first two days of this week. Then I went back to work, which kept me busy and drained all my energy. What a week.

Four

PIC OF THE WEEK

I love this cover so stinking much. I’m also really enjoying the book, too. Meghan Quinn gives damn good rom com.

LOOKING AHEAD

Man oh man, I need this weekend. I shouldn’t. It’s not like I wasn’t on an extended vacation for most of December. But this week took EVERYTHING out of me. And I still need to get my life/apartment in order before I head off on my work trip to New Orleans on Thursday. I just hope I’ll find some reading time amidst all the cleaning. ?

  1. I just received On Thin Ice and am excited to start it. I enjoyed the previous two books so much. The One You Fight For was so good. My heart just broke for Shaw. I’m hopeful we’ll get Kincaid’s story!
