Ok, was it just me or did March fly by? I’m not sure how it’s April now, but hey… at least the weather will be warmer soon. That’s a good thing.
I’d planned to dedicate most of March to my TBR and while that didn’t happen, I’m still pleased with my 2019 Tackle My TBR Reading Challenge progress!
Alright. Hook Shot. Holy crap. I know Kennedy is a total goddess and she has the power to break me — and put me back together again — with her words. But whoa. This book.
Next Year in Havana did ALL THE THINGS to my heart. This book I wasn’t sure I’d ever read is destined to be one of my favorites of 2019. Totally gorgeous.
Heat Stroke was an absolute joy to read. I’m not kidding when I say I read it in one sitting. I literally didn’t move from my couch until I finished it.
Mouth to Mouth had been on my TBR for ages. I’m about 99% sure I snagged it on release day. But, I’m just now getting around to reading it. Naturally.
TGIF, y’all! I’m so happy it’s Friday and that I get to share my mini weekly recap with you. Keep reading to see some of my new books and what was keeping me busy this week!
Y’all, Penny Reid is killing me with the Laws of Physics series. And I totally mean this as a compliment. Space was a fantastic installment and I NEED MORE.
I think my feelings about Diary of a Bad Boy might have been a case of “it’s not you, it’s me,” but I struggled a bit with this one.
Y’all, I loved Make Me Bad. It might not have made ME bad, but it definitely made me swoon and giggle (and even blush a little). I loved every moment of it.
Block Shot was ahhhmazing. I’m convinced Kennedy Ryan is incapable of writing anything less. Also? I’m kicking myself for letting it siton my TBR this long.
Fallen Star was unputdownable and absolutely wonderful. I adored Grace. I swooned over Scott. And I loved that the book was set in New Orleans.
