TGIF, y’all! I’m so happy it’s Friday and that I get to share my mini weekly recap with you. Keep reading to see some of my new books and what was keeping me busy this week!
If you’ve been visiting my blog for a while now, you might know that Five Things Friday was born out of a desire to include more of ME on my blog. It’s gone through a couple of iterations now, but I’m pretty happy with where it’s landed.

WHAT I’VE BEEN READING
After reading very little in November and December, I’m finally getting back to reading more consistently. Now, I’m not reading anywhere near as much as I used to. But baby steps, right? I’ve almost finished two books already in January — and that’s what I read during the month of November total. So, progress.

THIS WEEK’S OBSESSION
I should believe “to spoon” now takes on quite a different meaning indeed. pic.twitter.com/KTmsDDlCJM

I’m obsessed with all things Bridgerton. But especially this spoon and Regé-Jean Page. 👅🥄🔥

PHOTO OF THE WEEK
Sometime around Thanksgiving, I was just clicking through Etsy seeing if anything caught my eye when I happened upon a shop that makes all kinds of fun book swag. I quickly fell in love with her book ornaments and decided I HAD TO HAVE ONE. Just look at this perfect stack of Mariana Zapata books. 😍 forever. I’ll definitely be shopping with her again.

WHAT’S HAPPENING
It’s a near year and I’m trying to get back to the old me. You know, the one who used to blog with some amount of regularity. A lot has happened since I last updated y’all. Namely, I’m (mostly) settled in my new apartment. One of these days I’ll get everything arranged to my liking and post some photos. Work is super busy right now, which isn’t really anything new. But it’s sure keeping me busy. Sadly, I lost my Punkin’ Head cat shortly after Christmas. So that’s been another adjustment for me and his brother, C.A.T. We’re doing our best. But I guess we’re all just doing our best at this point, right? The world is a lot.
