My Favorite Reads of June

Oh, look. It’s nearly July and I’ve still not talked about my June favorites. So let’s get on that, shall we?

40-Love by Olivia Dade

Amazon | Goodreads | My Review

Have you ever loved a book so much you wanted to shout that love from the rooftops? Make everyone you know read it? That’s how I felt the instant I finished 40-Love. It was Kim catnip — 40-year-old heroine, age-gap romance, perfect fat rep, giggles, HOT SEX, and feels. Tess needs to be my new best friend and does Lucas have a brother or twin? Asking for me.

Experimental Marine Biology by Susannah Nix

Experimental Marine Biology

Whale, whale, whale… this book was exactly what I needed in my life. I could not/would not put it down once I started. There were a million little things to love about this book, not the least of which was the wonderful chemistry between Brooke and Dylan and the humor. This is best friends to lovers meets friends with benefits done SO WELL.

The Boyfriend Project by Farrah Rochon

The Boyfriend Project

Amazon | Goodreads

The Boyfriend Project was one of my most highly-anticipated books of 2020 and I’m thrilled to say it exceeded my expectations. What started with a date gone horribly wrong, ends up leading to some of the best girl gangs I’ve read about in a long time. The romance was amazing, too. I loved Samiah and Daniel.

Yayyyy Summer Loving! Lol. In the winter I tend to be drawn to more intense books that are heavy reads but in the summer I want fun and steamy and light! Thanks for sharing this with your readers. “40 Love” sounds GREAT!
I recently finished the perfect rockstar romance book for the summer called “Endless” by Kaylene Winter ( I am happy to say this is BOOK 1 in a romance series and I cannot wait for the next one. It follows “star-crossed lovers” (lol) Ty and Zoey who had a quick and passionate romance before Ty goes on the road with his band and Zoey goes to school for law. Zoey is advised by a trusted father figure to end things with Ty because it will be very difficult and distracting to continue a relationship with a rockstar and she ends up ghosting him… They unexpectedly meet up again later on and that’s when the book gets juicy. I honestly couldn’t put it down. There is so much drama and sex and it’s also a really great love story too. I really hope you will check it out and perhaps add it to the August TBR list. Happy Summer Reading
