Happy July. Once again, I put off doing my June wrap up for so long it’s nearly pointless to even bother at this point. Rather than skip it, I’m just going to do an abbreviated version. Here goes nothing!
From a numbers standpoint, June was a crappy reading month. But, aside from one DNF (and an upsetting one at that) everything I read was four or five stars. Can’t really complain about that, right? Much like the last few months, I’ve struggled to focus on reading, instead splitting my non-work time between Animal Crossing and sewing. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Reading Challenges Update
First up, the Goodreads Reading Challenge! It’s not worth sharing a screenshot of this one, but I’m super behind. I’ve already dropped my goal once, but I might end up doing it a second time.
My goal for the 2020 Tackle My TBR Reading Challenge is four books each month. I only read 2 in June, but I’m still doing pretty well for the year overall.
It’s my third year doing an audiobook-focused challenge and I decided to up my goal this year! Eeep! My goal for the 2020 Audiobook Challenge is FOUR books each month. I only listened to two in June, but 🤷🏻♀️.
Can I admit I’m completely hesitant to look forward to things at this point in 2020? What are plans? I can’t predict how anything is going to go, so for now I’m basically just floating along. We’re all doing the best we can, right? I’m still in Pennsylvania, but I’ll probably head back to Virginia at the end of the month. I need to burn some vacation time because let’s face it, I’m not taking an actual vacation or taking a real trip anytime soon. I’m thinking about taking some days while I’m still in PA so maybe my mom and I can do a couple of fun day trips. (Socially distant and outdoors, of course.) That’s all I’ve got at this point.
Onto the books!
July releases I’m excited about
Want to stay up-to-date with upcoming romance releases? I can help with that. Check out my release calendar.
If you want to know more about what’s going on in my world, follow me on Instagram. I have a bookish one (@kimberlyfayereads) and a non-bookish one (@kimberlyfaye_). On the bookish one, you’ll find… lots of books. (And story templates dealing with books!) On the non-bookish one, you’ll find the other side of my life… my cats, travels, etc.
That’s a wrap! Be gentle on yourselves and make the best out of (the rest of) July. Stay safe and healthy, everyone! 💕
