My Favorite Reads of May

Hey, another month has gone by and the story is basically the same — I’m still struggling to focus on reading. May was a challenging month, with not all that many books read and two DNFs. But, there were three gems to be found. (Ok, two and one that will always be a favorite, no matter how many times I read it.) Without further ado, I give you my May favorites…

Queen Move by Kennedy Ryan

Queen Move

Amazon | Goodreads | My Review

I can always count on Kennedy Ryan’s books to send me on a journey and Queen Move was no exception. This beautiful, beautiful book. Kimba and Ezra’s story was messy and complicated, but perfect. I swear, I’d read Kennedy’s grocery list if she published it.

Sure Shot by Sarina Bowen

I can always count on Sarina Bowen to snap me out of a reading funk. I live for her sports romances. Bess and Tank’s second chance romance was everything my sports-starved self needed in my life when I read it.

The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata

Amazon | Goodreads | My Review

Is it unnecessary to shout out The Wall of Winnipeg and Me as a favorite read of the month every single time I reread it? Maybe. Am I going to stop? Nah. I am who I am. And I just can’t (won’t?) stop talking about this book. Van and Aiden are everything.
