June Romance Releases I'm Excited About

I’m sorry, but how is it almost June?! I swear, March seemed to last 15 years, but April and May flew by. Oh well. At least there are new books to look forward to! Lots of them. Here are a few of the upcoming romance releases I’m excited about.

A Dark and Stormy Night by Kerrigan Byrne

Kerrigan Byrne’s books are *everything* and I can’t wait to read this one. If you like regency romance, but also appreciate something a little darker, check her books out. This one sounds wonderful AND it gets me one book closer to the story I’m itching for right now. If you read The Duke with a Dragon Tattoo you know exactly what I’m talking about.

40-Love by Olivia Dade

Amazon | Goodreads

Unless I decide to read one of her backlist titles first, this will be my first Olivia Dade book. She’s been on my radar — and my TBR — for ages. When she offered up ARCs for this book on Twitter, I jumped at the chance. I mean, hello, just look at that cover. I hear she writes great plus size rep and I am here for it.

The Boyfriend Project by Farrah Rochon

The Boyfriend Project

Amazon | Goodreads

I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve had an ARC for this book for, well months, and still not gotten around to finishing it. I started it a couple of weeks back and was enjoying it, but as is the often the case lately, I got distracted by something else and sat it aside. I’ll be picking it up again very soon though. This will be my first by her, too.

Experimental Marine Biology by Susannah Nix

Amazon | Goodreads

I always enjoy Susannah Nix’s romances and I suspect Experimental Marine Biology will be no different. I’m a sucker for a STEM heroine.

The Last Train to Key West by Chanel Cleeton

The Last Train to Key West

Amazon | Goodreads

Y’all know I pretty much read exclusively romance. Chanel Cleeton is one of the only authors for whom I’ll always make an exception. My love for her books started with her debut and has gotten stronger over the years. So strong that I will even read historical fiction, a genre I had no time for before reading Next Year in Havana.

The Dare by Elle Kennedy

The Dare

June 16, 2020
Amazon | Goodreads

New Elle Kennedy?! New Elle Kennedy! I can’t wait for another Briar U book. These days I don’t read a lot of new adult romance, but I would read Elle’s grocery list if she published it. I’m so excited for this one!

Daring and the Duke by Sarah MacLean

Daring and the Duke

June 30, 2020
Amazon | Goodreads

I hoped that I would have (finally) read the first two books in Sarah MacLean’s Bareknuckle Bastard series by the time Daring and the Duke released. I suppose I probably still have time to make that happen though… right? Regardless, I have a signed copy of this one preordered and I can’t wait to add it to my shelves.

The Devil of Downtown by Joanna Shupe

The Devil of Downtown

June 30, 2020
Amazon | Goodreads

My love for Joanna Shupe’s books is new, but that doesn’t make it any less real. I still need to catch up on the Uptown Girls series, but I’m loving the historical New York City setting. The first in this series was the first historical I’d read that was set in the US. I loved it. I can’t wait to read the second book and then this one.
