Oh hey, March! It’s nice to see you. What do you say we kick the month off with a little recap of February? Check out my latest That’s a Wrap post!
Where it seemed like January dragged on for three months, February flew by. Without any snow, I might add. 😐 I actually miss having winter. I said what I said. If it’s going to be cold, I’d like some snow to go with it. You know, as long as I don’t have to a) shovel or b) drive in it. But, I digress.
February was an average month. Aside from my birthday, there wasn’t much excitement. (And even that wasn’t all that exciting, tbh.) I read more books than I did in January, but not by a whole lot. I finished up with 12 reads, 8 of which I rated five stars. Also, I made pretty good progress on my reading challenges, but you can see more about that below. Thank goodness for audiobooks, because my month would’ve looked very different without them.
On the bloggy/bookish front, I’m thrilled to say I am *almost* caught up on reviews! Hooray! I also relaunched my weekly email digest and updated my release calendar. I managed to post every day on Instagram and didn’t even get that far behind with my quickie reviews. It’s taken a while, but I think I’ve finally figured out a good routine. Best of all, it’s one that allows me to sleep, work, and even work out a few times a week. Now to work on that whole reading more books thing…
February was a pretty good month, all in all.

Reading Challenges Update
First up, the Goodreads Reading Challenge! I actually lost a little ground in February. Oops. Is March the month I get caught up? Only time will tell!
My goal for the 2020 Tackle My TBR Reading Challenge is four books each month. I read five in February! I even reviewed three of them, though only one review has posted so far. The others are scheduled. I’ll update the post once they’re out in the world. 😉
It’s my third year doing an audiobook-focused challenge and I decided to up my goal this year! Eeep! My goal for the 2020 Audiobook Challenge is FOUR books each month. A stretch? Maybe. But we’ll see what happens! I read SIX in February. 😍
After deciding to DNF the first Romanceopoly last year, I knew I had to give it another shot this year. I’m coming after you, Romanceopoly 2020! I’ve been doing a pretty good job of planning my reading this year, so I’m making progress with Romanceopoly. Hooray!
I can’t believe March is already here! With it comes one of my favorite events of the entire year — ApollyCon. I’m super excited to see my bookish friends and meet new ones. I’m also stoked to meet some new authors this year. Unlike the past few years, I’m not going overboard buying books for this signing. I’m sure I’ll purchase a few, but I’ve been trying to cut back on print books. I live in a less than 700 square foot apartment and, quite frankly, I’m running out of space for new shelves. I did start a cute new wall display, so I’ll have authors sign something for that instead.
Other than that? Nothing major going on. I’ll just see what the month brings!
Now, onto the books!
March releases I’m excited about
Want to stay up-to-date with upcoming romance releases? I can help with that. Check out my release calendar.
If you want to know more about what’s going on in my world, follow me on Instagram. I have a bookish one (@kimberlyfayereads) and a non-bookish one (@kimberlyfaye_). On the bookish one, you’ll find… lots of books. (And story templates dealing with books!) On the non-bookish one, you’ll find the other side of my life… my cats, travels, etc.
That’s a wrap! I hope you have a great month ahead!
