That’s a Wrap: December 2019

ย  That's a Wrap

Despite my goal to blog more consistently in 2020, I’m running rather late with my December That’s a Wrap post. Can I blame it on the holidays and return to normal life after? Better late than never, right?

December seems like it was so long ago. It’s actually tough to remember what all happened. The highlight was definitely my week and a half vacation for Christmas. I spent the holidays in Pennsylvania with my family. It was wonderful. But, by the last few days I didn’t know what day it was and I was itching to get back to some sort of routine. I watched a lot of The West Wing reruns and did a fair amount of reading. Also: shopping.

Over here on the blog, I successfully completed my Top 10 of 2019 challenge, talked about my favorite reads of November, and those I’m looking forward to this month. The biggest bloggy news, by far, was that I finally launched my release calendar! I’m super stoked about it. Now, I can hopefully get back into the groove with my weekly newsletters. I have big plans for the blog โ€” and my bookstagram โ€” in 2020. Stay tuned. ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you want to know more about whatโ€™s going on in my world, follow me on Instagram. I have a bookish one (@kimberlyfayereads) and a non-bookish one (@kimberlyfaye_). On the bookish one, you’ll find… lots of books. (And story templates dealing with books!) On the non-bookish one, you’ll find the other side of my life… my cats, travels, etc.

Reading Challenges Update

First up, the Goodreads Reading Challenge! I padded my stats a little there at the end with some Read Me Romance audiobook novellas, but I’m not going to apologize for it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

You might’ve seen where I decided to DNF Romanceopoly back in October. It’s an amazing and creative challenge, I just didn’t commit to it early enough in the year.

Looking Ahead

There’s only one thing on my agenda for January and it’s my company’s big annual convention in Austin. I’ll be there for a full week. Yay? It’s such a crazy, busy time, but we also find a way to have fun while we’re there. Other than that, it’s a lot of work, a little reading and getting back into a routine after the holidays. Nothing super exciting.

Now, onto the books!
