Top 10 of 2019

I didn’t come anywhere close to completing my 2019 TBR, but I’m still ready to think about my most anticipated 2020 reads. Who else is looking forward to a new decade of books? In my final Top 10 of 2019 post, I’m talking about the upcoming books I just can’t wait to get my hands on! Or, you know, READ since I do have review copies of several of these books.

Don’t forget: I have a release calendar you can bookmark to keep up with all the new and upcoming releases. (At least in romance!)

I hope you enjoyed talking about YOUR bookish bests as much as I did! You can see all my Top 10 of 2019 posts here.

Undercover Bromance

If you saw my post yesterday — or have followed me at all in the last couple of months — you know The Bromance Book Club was one of my top reads of 2019. I can’t wait for the next installment. I’m super excited about Liv and Mack’s story.

Wild at Heart

I fell head over heels with Calla and Jonah in The Simple Wild. I’m thrilled Kathleen is giving them a sequel, but I’m also worried about what that will bring for them.

The Honey-Don’t List

Why yes, I am super stoked for a new Christina Lauren release. This should surprise no one.

The Rakess

A female rake ono a quest for women’s rights? Hell. Yes. I’ve had total grabby hands for this book since I first saw a behind-the-scenes look at the cover photoshoot.

The Last Train to Key West

The Last Train to Key West is the only non-romance book on my must-have list for 2020. (At least so far.) If it’s anything like the first two books, Next Year in Havana and When We Left Cuba, I’ll fall in love with it.

Love Her or Lose Her

I adored Fix Her Up and can’t wait for another fix of this world Tessa created. I’m also a little nervous about this one because the hero shares a name with my ex and, well, I’m not sure how my brain will handle reading a dirty-talking Dominic. 😂

Chasing Cassandra

I love Lisa Kleypas’ books so damn much. I’m half in love with this one already just from the cover alone.

The Boyfriend Project

Farrah Rochon has been on my “need to read someday” list for ages now. I think I’ll wait until I get The Boyfriend Project. It sounds so wonderful!

Take a Hint, Dani Brown

Talia Hibbert was a new-to-me author in 2019. I totally fell in love with her writing and characters in Get a Life, Chloe Brown. I can’t wait to get the next Brown sister story!

Throw Like a Girl

I don’t read much YA these days, but this one is high on my list. It’s giving me major Catching Jordan vibes and I’m here for it.
