Anyone up for a rundown of some of the upcoming January romance releases I’m most excited about? Looks like we’ll be kicking 2020 off right! I, for one, can’t wait.
I first did one of these “exciting upcoming romance releases” posts in October while I was in the midst of Blogtober and desperate for content. But, I actually really enjoyed writing it and it seemed to go over pretty well, so here we are. I actually planned to do one in November for December releases, but that didn’t happen. One of my goals for 2020 is to add this to my monthly calendar and be more consistent actually getting it out.
Now, let’s talk about those books!
Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey
I’ve had an ARC of Love Her or Lose Her for ages now, but I’ve yet to start reading it. Established couple romances are a new trope for me, but I want to read more. If I’m being totally honest, the main reason I’ve put off reading this book so far is the hero’s name. I’m not sure I’m ready to read a dirty-talking Tessa Bailey hero who shares a name with THE EX. 😂 But for real, this book sounds amazing and I’m excited to get more of Dominic and Rosie.
Headliners by Lucy Parker
I’ve loved every one of Lucy Parker’s books and I expect Headliners will be no different. I love a good antagonistic romance and this pairing of two rival TV personalities sounds like it’ll be right up my alley.
Heartland by Sarina Bowen
Let’s be honest, Sarina Bowen could publish her grocery list and I’d be excited to read it. There’s no sense in pretending otherwise. She’s one of the earliest romance authors I discovered and I’ve been in love with her ever since. The True North series has a special place in my heart and I’m thrilled about Heartland. (And that cover! 😍) Farmer/rancher heroes are some of my faves and I love a good friends-to-lovers story.
Feisty by Julia Kent
Julia Kent is one of my favorite new-to-me author discoveries of 2019. Fluffy was one of the funniest books I read all year. I also really enjoyed Perky. Naturally, I’m over the moon with the idea of a new book in that series in just a few short weeks. Feisty sounds so darn good. I’m a sucker for stories where love interests with a history are reunited.
Throw Like a Girl by Sarah Henning
I don’t read a lot of young adult titles these days, but I do make exceptions for special books. I have really high hopes for Throw Like a Girl after one of my trusted bookish peeps recommended it to me. The blurb for this book gives me some Catching Jordan vibes and I’m all over it.
Which January romance releases are you excited about?
