I love supporting small businesses. Especially bookish small businesses. I thought it’d be fun to do a rundown of some of my own favorite bookish Etsy shops in time for Small Business Saturday. As you can see, I didn’t exactly stick the landing, but better late than never, right? 🙈
I hope you’ll find some good recommendations here, whether you’re looking for bookish goodies for yourself or the book lover in your life. This isn’t just some random list, either. I own products and/or have shopped with all but one of these shops so I can personally attest to the quality. (And I’m buying from that one this week!)
Let’s get started!

Novel Nuzzler Book Sleeves
Full disclosure: I’m a two-time rep for Suzanne and Novel Nuzzler. But that’s not why her sleeves are at the top of my recommendations list. I’ve purchased more sleeves than I’ve gotten for free, that’s for sure. I’m a bit of a Novel Nuzzler addict if I’m being honest. (And if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve no doubt seen this firsthand as a majority of my photos features one.) I love the quality, fabrics, shipping time, and customer service offered by this shop. This ornaments fabric is one of my favorites this year, but her shop is full of so many great options. Looking for a specific fabric? Message her. She does custom orders! Use code KIM10 to save 10%!
Fable & Black Enamel Pins
I have to admit I have a little bit of an enamel pin problem, too. I don’t ever wear them, but I have two pin banners that are almost full. They’re so pretty and I love looking at them. Fable & Black is one of my favorite shops. I adore this book lover pin and I really need to buy this introvert pin. Looking for something other than pins? Peep this shop’s adorable buttons, stickers, keychains, art prints AND MORE.
Dust and Pages
I bought this bibliohoe pin last year at ApollyCon. I just couldn’t pass it up when I saw it on display there. It gives me a good chuckle every time I see it. I also snagged this Harry Potter nerd pin from their offerings. There are a lot of other fandom-specific pins in their shop, too.
Why use a boring coaster when you can use a mug rug from Ardent Admirations instead? I love the variety of fabrics Jessica uses to make these mug rugs. If that’s not your style, check out her book sleeves. She adds new fabrics regularly!
I’m a bit of a candle hoarder. Ok, not a “bit”. I’m a full-on candle hoarder. I’m a total sucker for a good fandom or bookish candle and I’ve purchased from A LOT of shops. Believe me when I say they are NOT all created equal. Novelly Yours is easily one of the best of the best. Brittany is a great small business owner. I love the variety of candles she offers. Everything from the fandom specific Broomstick Bar to generally bookish like Book Boyfriend. She makes both YA and romance-themed candles. The quality is A+ and the customer service is as well.
Fiction Stitches Shop
How freaking cute are these Weasley sweater hoops? I know some folks who will definitely be getting these for Christmas. And I’m more than likely buying one for myself, too. I can always use another Harry Potter ornament. Especially a personalized one!
Bubble & Geek
See above re: my candle hoarding problem. 😂 Bubble & Geek is another of my favorite shops. Unsurprisingly, it’s another Harry Potter fandom scent that’s one of my faves she offers. Winter in the Wizarding Village smells SO GOOD. I only burn it in very short increments because I’m determined to make it last. I’m also a big fan of her Appalachia candle. It reminds me of my roots. I’ve not tried her lip balms or bath products yet, but plan to do so soon.
Fancy Seeing You Here Pins
Ok, ok… a space cat pin isn’t really bookish but I couldn’t NOT include it on this list. One of my colleagues bought this pin for me for my birthday and it’s one of my favorites. I mean come on. How freaking cute is this? It’s also available in blue, and black and gold. If you (or the person you’re shopping for) is a cat lover, this shop has so many adorable things.
