November is shaping up to be another banner month when it comes to romance! I don’t know how I’m going to keep up with all of them and still find time to work and sleep. 😂 But seriously, I’m only half kidding.
This isn’t my usual type of content, but Blogtober is forcing me to think differently. I’m working on pulling everything into my new and shiny (digital) planner today and I thought “Hey, I’ll bet other folks would enjoy a rundown of some exciting November romance releases!” Why not? Do you like this kind of post? Should I continue in the coming months? Let me know.
Now, let’s talk about those books!
I’m not ashamed to admit I added Not the Girl You Marry to my TBR immediately upon seeing the cover without even reading the blurb. In fairness, I follow Andie on Twitter (she’s hilarious) and she’s a local author so of course, I want to read her book. Also, you pitch me a book and compare it to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, I’m going to jump all over it.
Bromance Book Club is one of my most highly-anticipated books of 2019, or at least of the latter half. I’ve not run across many romances that feature established couples so I find that super intriguing. Plus there’s just something about the idea of a bunch of alpha males sitting around reading romance novels that makes my heart sing.
I’ve seen a lot of great early buzz about Get a Life, Chloe Brown and I can’t wait to start it. This weekend, perhaps? I’m totally here for a bucket list book with some diversity — and a cat on the cover, naturally. Talia’s a new-to-me author so I’m especially stoked at the idea of finding a new favorite.
Truth time: I couldn’t finish Beard with Me. It was too sad and, since it was an origin story, I knew it wouldn’t have the HEA I needed. So, I decided not to torture myself and instead wait for Beard Necessities. Now I’m chomping at the bit because I really need Scarlet and Billy’s story. I’m mentally preparing myself for it, too, because I suspect it will be quite the bumpy ride.
What happens when two authors I adore team up to write one book? Magic, I hope. A fake it till you make it romance between a self-proclaimed geek and an ex-boxer sounds just perfect for me. Doesn’t Outmatched sound so freaking good?
I absolutely loved the first book in the Donner Bakery series, so I am ridiculously excited to continue on with it. Even if it’s from different authors. I’m interested in seeing how it matches up with Baking Me Crazy style-wise. Ellie Kay is another new-to-me author and you know how much I love discovering those. A down on her luck heroine meets a “bad boy” hero in a small town? You’re speaking my language.
A historical romance retelling of Beauty and the Beast? Those will literally never get old for me. Amalie Howard’s been on my TBR for quite a while now, but this will be my first book of hers.
Which November romance releases are you excited about?
Any of the ones on my list?
