TGIF, y’all! I’m so happy it’s Friday and that I get to share my mini weekly recap with you. Keep reading to see some of my new books and what was keeping me busy this week!
If you’ve been visiting my blog for awhile now, you might know that Five Things Friday was born out of a desire to include more of ME on my blog. It’s gone through a couple iterations now, but I’m pretty happy with where it’s landed.
NEW TO MY QUEUE
I don’t usually talk about books I purchased, instead focusing on those I received for review, but I got ZERO books for review this week. And I’m really excited about this book after seeing it all over Instagram.
FAVORITE BOOK OF THE WEEK
You NEED Well Met in your life. If it’s not already on your radar (and your TBR), rethink your choices. I read this amazingly swoony book in one sitting, stopping only long enough to relocate indoors because it was too damn hot to sit outside any longer. Overall, it’s lighthearted, but it also deals with grief. It gave me all the swoons and feels. So much love for this book.
THIS WEEK’S OBSESSION
Travis Wall is a freaking genius. That’s really all that needs to be said.
PIC OF THE WEEK
This might seem staged, but it’s about as real as it gets. (Down to the sweating coffee cup!) I curled up in this chair outside and read half of Well Met before I even thought about moving.
THIS WEEK IN A NUTSHELL
I’ve been on a bit of a blog hiatus while I worked on transferring my site from my old host (SiteGround) to my new one (KnownHost). Thankfully KnownHost’s customer service is awesome and they migrated my site for me (for no charge!) so I just needed to do some other cleanup things instead of having to stress about the whole thing on my own. Fun times. You know what will be fun though? My trip to New York City tomorrow! (I mean, hopefully anyhow.) I’m heading up for a signing on Saturday, but also making time to meet with one of my favorite publicists tomorrow afternoon. As for what else I’ll do while I’m up there? Who knows. The sky’s basically the limit and it all depends on the weather and my mood!
How was your week?
