Five Things Friday

TGIF, y’all! I’m so happy it’s Friday and that I get to share my mini weekly recap with you. Keep reading to see some of my new books and what was keeping me busy this week!

If you’ve been visiting my blog for awhile now, you might know that Five Things Friday was born out of a desire to include more of ME on my blog. It’s gone through a couple iterations now, but I’m pretty happy with where it’s landed.

FAVORITE BOOK OF THE WEEK

Fix Her Up

Ok, so technically Fix Her Up is the ONLY book I’ve finished this week, but that doesn’t mean I love it any less. It was old school Tessa Bailey. It has a sexy alpha hero, a spunky heroine and super hot smoking times. You know, all the things I love about Tessa’s books.

 Three

THIS WEEK’S OBSESSION

I don’t follow a lot of “silly” Facebook pages, but I made an exception for Introverts Are Awesome. These are my people. This one is so, so freaking me.

Four

PIC OF THE WEEK

I had big plans for a fun post-book event photo featuring me, my stack and the Pittsburgh skyline. Unfortunately, the stupid train that runs alongside the river wasn’t playing nice. Instead of moving on along, it sat there for way too long and I didn’t want it in my photo. But it’s ok, I’m still low key obsessed with this photo from my parents landscaping.

THIS WEEK IN A NUTSHELL

I’ve been the actual worst this week. My long weekend in Pennsylvania, a work trip to a dairy farm when I returned and three days of catch-up at the office left me with ZERO energy to do bloggy things or even spend much time reading. Now I need to do ALL THE THINGS this weekend, when all I really want to do is sit outside and read. *sigh* Adulting can be the worst. But on the plus side, I had an awesome weekend. I went to a book event, spend time with two of my besties AND my mom, hit up two used bookstores and had AMAZING ice cream at the dairy farm. So it’s not all bad. ?
