Five Things Friday

TGIF, y’all! I’m so happy it’s Friday and that I get to share my mini weekly recap with you. Keep reading to see some of my new books and what was keeping me busy this week!

If you’ve been visiting my blog for awhile now, you might know that Five Things Friday was born out of a desire to include more of ME on my blog. It’s gone through a couple iterations now, but I’m pretty happy with where it’s landed.

FAVORITE BOOK OF THE WEEK

Fluffy

Calling all rom com lovers! If you’re looking for your next favorite book, look no further. Fluffy had me quite literally laughing out loud nearly the entire time. This is my first Julia Kent book, but it won’t be my last.

THIS WEEK’S OBSESSION

I mean, if I’m being completely honest, I’ve been obsessed with this song for a month or so now. But unlike a lot of songs that I just get so sick of hearing after a couple weeks, I turn the radio up every time this one comes on.

PIC OF THE WEEK

Sometimes I stage my bookstagram photos pretty heavily. A lot of thought goes into them. Other times, I forget I haven’t posted a recap for the previous month so I grab a couple favorite books and throw them on top of one of my TBR carts. I loved how this one came out. Plus, The Bride Test is one of my top reads from April, so it just makes me smile when I see it.

THIS WEEK IN A NUTSHELL

The past two weeks have been totally exhausting. I did a pretty good job unwinding last weekend with lots of reading and self care, but I’m looking forward to doing the same this weekend. I’m honestly just glad it’s Friday. I’m looking forward to lunching with a friend tomorrow and then doing a whole lot of nothing for the rest of the weekend. My TBR is calling me!
