As the end of 2018 approaches (rather rapidly, in fact) I’ll be spending the rest of it talking about my “bookish bests” during the Top 10 of 2018 event I’m hosting. Are you interested in joining? Check out the sign-up post for details.
Boy, time flies. 2018 is almost gone and 2019 is nearly here. In today’s Top 10 of 2018 post, I’m talking about those 2019 releases I can’t wait to get my hands on. Or, you know, make time to read if I already have copies. There are a bunch of 2019 releases I’m excited about — and I’m sure there will be more along the way — but as it stands now, these are my top ten.
Sally’s debut, The Hating Game, is one of my all-time favorite books. I think I’ve read it three times now and I have plans to continue the rereads in 2019 (and beyond). I’ve been anxious to see what she would give us next but, despite actually having a copy of 99 Percent Mine, I’ve not read it yet. It’s coming up very, very soon on my TBR though.
Ahhhhh I love Elle Kennedy’s books. The Chase was so, so stinking good. It was delightful being back at Briar U. I can’t wait for more from this world and these characters. Come on, February!
If you’ve been following my Top 10 of 2018 at all, you’ve no doubt noticed just how much I love love loved Helen’s debut, The Kiss Quotient. I can’t wait for the follow-up!
Y’all know I love my sports romance. Particularly when it’s football romance. And when it’s as great as Intercepted was. I got a copy of Fumbled right before I left on vacation and believe me when I say it’s super high on my TBR.
Ok, first off this cover is just about the cutest thing ever. Secondly, I love me some Helena Hunting and Meet Cute sounds adorable. I can’t wait to get my hands on this one!
Lisa Kleypas is the undisputed queen of historical romance — at least in my mind. I’m looking forward to this continuation of her Ravenels series. And I can’t wait to get Devil’s Daughter on my shelves because this cover is giving me ALL the heart eyes.
I’m always on the lookout for new and new to me authors and Abby Jimenez’s book, The Friend Zone, caught my eye a few months ago. It sounds like the perfect combination of funny and real and like it will deliver some major feels. I’ll just be over here waiting with grabby hands until I get it.
I love Penny Reid AND her Winston Brothers series. The next installment, Beard with Me, sounds wonderful and I can’t wait until it gets here.
Who doesn’t love Lauren Layne? I know I do. I’ve been salivating over her new Central Park Pact series since I saw the cover for Passion on Park Avenue. I know I’m going to love it.
Another new-to-me author with an upcoming release I have total grabby hands for. I’m a sucker for a rom com — whether book or movie — and this one sounds adorable.
