As the end of 2018 approaches (rather rapidly, in fact) I’ll be spending the rest of it talking about my “bookish bests” during the Top 10 of 2018 event I’m hosting. Are you interested in joining? Check out the sign-up post for details.
I judge books by their covers. I’m not even going to lie. I enjoy all types of covers, as you’ll see in a small sampling of my favorites from 2018. This was another surprisingly difficult list to narrow down to ten… so I cheated a bit. #sorrynotsorry
The classic romance covers are still some of my favorites.
Hello, I love this new trend in covers.
Abstract/No People Covers
I don’t see a lot of covers like this in the books I tend to gravitate towards, but I’m always happy to see the more creative covers.
From the more abstract covers that still allow you to picture the heroine on your own to the beautiful dress covers prevalent in historical romance, I love covers with ladies on them.
Whether it’s “abs” covers, a gratuitous shot of the book’s hero or something like this gorgeous cover above, I’m also totally here for the covers featuring the men I love.
Open only to those participating in the Top 10 of 2018!
