2019 Reading Challenges

It’s that time again — time to think about which reading challenges I want to participate in next year. I was only planning to do three challenges, but found an awesome fourth I just couldn’t pass up.

Keep on scrolling to learn more about each of the challenges and my goals.

Goodreads Challenge

I assume a Goodreads Reading Challenge will be announced at some point. I guess I am a little early, but they could post it anytime now and I’d be happy. I’m lowering my goal for this challenge a bit for 2019, but I reserve the right to increase it at any time.

GOAL:

Read 175 books.

Tackle My TBR Challenge

2019 Tackle My TBR Challenge

I’m hosting this one! Click the banner above to learn more — and join!

GOAL:

My individual goal for this challenge is to read (at least) FOUR books from my TBR each month, but I’m shooting for the Touchdown — 61+ TBR books — level in the challenge. Go big or go home, right? ? I also hope to review (at least) half of them, so I’m shooting for the Extra Point review challenge.

2019 Audiobook Challenge

The 2019 Audiobook Challenge is hosted by hosted by Hot Listens and Caffeinated Reviewer. Learn more about it by clicking the banner above.

GOAL:

3 books a month (eep!), which puts me in the My Precious category for the challenge.

Romanceopoly

Under the Covers and Peace Love Books have found a truly awesome way to mashup two things I love — romance novels and board games — into an even MORE AWESOME challenge for 2019. This one looks like it’ll push me outside of my reading comfort zone and I am HERE FOR IT. Click the image above to learn more about Romanceopoly.

I’ll be updating my progress for each challenge during my That’s a Wrap monthly recap posts! Look for the first update sometime shortly after the first of February.

  1. Yes there are some fun challenges. I always want to do the romanceopoly as well, there are a couple of challenges I host that I will participate in as well as one from one of my goodreads group and then of course the Goodreads Reading Challenge. I want to push myself into reading more books, so I am going for 400.
