TGIF, y’all! I’m so happy it’s Friday and that I get to share my mini weekly recap with you. Keep reading to see some of my new books and what was keeping me busy this week!
If you’ve been visiting my blog for awhile now, you might know that Five Things Friday was born out of a desire to include more of ME on my blog. I was writing about a new topic each week, but honestly, that got kinda old. It was hard to come up with something new each week. You know what that means — it was time to mix things up a bit. So, my current iteration of FTF was born… with some inspiration from Brandie @ Running on Words & Wine.
NEW TO MY QUEUE
FAVORITE BOOK OF THE WEEK
This is my second Corinne Michaels’ book and my first of Melanie Harlow’s. I was absolutely addicted to this story, even when I wanted to reach through my screen and strangle one of the characters. (Usually Ian, tbh.) I read it cover to cover in literally one sitting. Highly recommend!
WHEN I WASN’T READING
Last week was my next-to-last long weekend of the summer and I enjoyed it as much as I possibly could. By doing as little as I could get away with, honestly. I did a little blogging, took a lot of photos for bookstagram and spent some time outside as weather allowed. (Rainiest summer ever, no?) I did some adulting and other less exciting things. One of the highlights of my weekend was watching To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before on Netflix. Twice. In the same day. Total heart eyes.
PIC OF THE WEEK
My pretty blue bookish wave from bookstagram this week! So many favorites in this photo!
I thought I had a plan-free weekend, until my friend reminded me we have tickets for Brad Paisley, Kane Brown and someone named Tyminski (who I’ve never heard of) tomorrow night. It should be fun! And, if not, the ticket was only $16 sooooooo… Other than that, I’m looking forward to doing some reading and I should probably write some book reviews, too.
How was your week?
