Happy, happy, happy book birthday to Zoe Lee and A Perfect Fit! Zoe is a new-to-me author and I’m so happy I took a chance on this book. I do love a good small town romance and this one was both sweet and steamy.

Two big hearts, one big messy ride.
Daisy Rhys is trying to sneak away from a wedding reception, when Dunk McCoy—the sexy high school football coach and guy known for a good time—comes to her rescue. He's sweet, nice and keeps putting his foot in his mouth. Daisy is totally delighted. A quick rescue turns into a full on press of a different kind. Their chemistry is something different than Daisy has ever experienced but it looks like one-night was all that was meant to be.
The next morning, Dunk McCoy wakes up after the best sex dream of his life. But when his friends point out that he’s sporting a hickey, he’s adamant that his Cinderella could be perfect for him. He’s determined to find her, and his laughing, disbelieving friends are only too happy to send him on her trail.
Can he convince her that he wasn't just trying to score? Or will Dunk's attempt at true love be benched for good?
I received a complimentary copy of this book for review consideration. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Y’all, A Perfect Fit was SUCH a fun, sweet and sexy book. Small town romances are my jam and this one totally fit the bill. Zoe is a new-to-me author — first of 2018! — and I am so glad I took a chance on this book after seeing the adorable cover and reading the blurb. I’ve already put “read all Zoe Lee’s backlist books” on my to-do list for this year.
Daisy and Dunk were both great characters with tons of chemistry and often innuendo-laden banter that had me literally laughing out loud. Dunk had me all heart-eyed through a good portion of the book. I’m not even gonna lie. He was an enigma at times, but only because you don’t often see men like him in books. Yes, he’d been around… but unlike so many of the players who seem to just be in it to get their rocks off, he seemed to be in it more to make the women happy. Honestly, he just made me smile. Daisy was no slouch herself. I really enjoyed her sass and determination to make people see there’s more to her than meets the eye. But I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that Dunk was the star of the show for me.
When I think of small town romances, I usually think of stories that are more “sweet” than “sexy” and y’all know I like my romance steamy. A Perfect Fit was both. I was actually a little surprised by how sexy it was. (And that is the opposite of a complaint.) 😉 Let’s just say Daisy and Dunk’s chemistry out of the bedroom is nothing compared to it inside the bedroom. My only complaint about the book — and it’s a small one — is that I thought it was a little long. After a strong start, it did drag in a couple places for me, but that did very little to squash my enjoyment of the book. This was a good pick for my first book of 2018!
“Women are complicated creatures, Dunk. I can say extra-love and fuck.”
“Shit, Daisy, don’t you know how much I want you? How much I want with you?”
He had one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World spread out in front of him, but he only truly cared about the beautiful, generous, passionate, funny woman at his side, sharing this with him.
“I know you read romances. You know I write love songs. I can always tell when it’s a love song about a breakup and when it’s a love song about forever.”
