My TBR List

My TBR List is quickly becoming one of my favorite memes! There are SO MANY books hanging out on my TBR that it’s almost overwhelming to decide what to read next. Plus, I think it pairs quite nicely with my TBR Thursday posts — which I’ve really been slacking on lately — BONUS!

Here’s what to expect:

  • First Saturday of the month: book choices and poll posted
  • Second Saturday of the month: winning book announcement posted
  • Last Saturday of the month: review posted

I hope you’ll play along and vote!

This month’s choices are all holiday romances — something I just can’t get enough of this time of year. There are several on my TBR and I’m having a tough time deciding which one to read first.

Now, help me decide which one it’ll be!

The Books

My TBR List: December 2017Marry Me at Christmas by Susan Mallery
Series: Fool's Gold #19
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Publication date: September 29, 2015
Publisher: Harlequin HQN
Add it: Goodreads

To bridal boutique owner Madeline Krug, organizing a Christmas wedding sounds like a joy—until she finds out she'll be working closely with the gorgeous brother of the bride, movie star Jonny Blaze. How will a small-town girl like her keep from falling for the world's sexiest guy? Especially with mistletoe lurking around every corner!

Jonny came to Fool's Gold looking for normal, not for love. Happily-ever-after only happens in the movies. Still, nothing about this quirky town is quite what he expected, and "ordinary" Madeline is the most extraordinary woman he's ever met. Refreshingly honest, disarmingly sweet. Achingly beautiful.

Planning the perfect wedding leads to candlelit dinners and strolls through snow-covered streets. And Madeline finds Jonny in real life even more captivating than her celebrity crush. But will the action star be brave enough to risk his heart and step into the role of a lifetime?

When bodyguard Ryder Southerland sees his best friend’s sister Katie at an L.A. Christmas party, he mistakes the slinky blonde for a celebrity stalker and tackles her. Now, one Christmas later, Ryder’s falling for the woman he’s been missing in the town he hasn’t missed at all...

Katie Cheek’s outgrown the romantic fantasies she had about Ryder when she was fifteen. Katie’s packed their hot night away in a box labeled “fling”—or tried to. But Twilight’s bad boy is the best man in her brother’s wedding. And up-close and personal, Ryder’s impossible to ignore. So Katie can either go into hiding—or surrender to Christmas magic.

There’s a Hallmark movie based off it this year! It’s my second favorite of the bunch so far, so I thought maybe I should read the book too. 😍

  1. I love Christmas romance! I almost decided to go this route theme wise, but decided to get a jump start on some other recent review books I have on hand I need to read. I seem to be mixing mysteries with Christmas-themed books anyway . . . I haven’t read any of the ones in your poll, but they all sound good. I recently watched the movie based on Marry Me at Christmas though! How funny! I enjoyed it, but I went with A Wedding for Christmas in the end. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of those! I hope you enjoy whichever wins! Have a great weekend, Kim.
