It’s time again for the Monday Musts! I love this meme and am so excited Jessica of Lovin’ los libros came up with it! Let’s talk about my Must Read, a Must Listen and a Must See for the week, shall we?
Walk of Shame by Lauren Layne
Series: Love Unexpectedly #4
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Publication date: April 18, 2017
Add it: Goodreads
Buy it: Amazon
Pampered heiress Georgianna Watkins has a party-girl image to maintain, but all the shopping and clubbing is starting to feel a little bit hollow—and a whole lot lonely. Though Georgie would never admit it, the highlights of her week are the mornings when she comes home at the same time as her uptight, workaholic neighbor is leaving to hit the gym and put in a long day at the office. Teasing him is the most fun Georgie’s had in years—and the fuel for all her naughtiest daydreams.
Celebrity divorce attorney Andrew Mulroney doesn’t have much time for women, especially spoiled tabloid princesses who spend more time on Page Six than at an actual job. Although Georgie’s drop-dead gorgeous, she’s also everything Andrew resents: the type of girl who inherited her penthouse instead of earning it. But after Andrew caps one of their predawn sparring sessions with a surprise kiss—a kiss that’s caught on camera—all of Manhattan is gossiping about whether they’re a real couple. And nobody’s more surprised than Andrew to find that the answer just might be yes.
I read TWO amazing books this weekend and it was so hard to decide which one to pick to showcase here today. I went with Lauren Layne’s Walk of Shame because it’ll be live tomorrow and I needed to tell you all how much I freaking loved it and how badly you all need to read it. Total perfection. It was sweet, funny, sexy and all types of swoony. And oh my feels. I loved everything about Georgie and Andrew together. My heart was so flipping happy while reading and after finishing this book! A true must-read!
Maren Morris is my girl. This song? Perfection.
I could use a love song
That takes me back, just like that
When it comes on
To a time when I wouldn’t roll my eyes
At a guy and a girl
Who make it work in a world
That for me so far just seems to go so wrong
Yeah I could use, I could use a love song
Look at this, y’all! One of my friends from high school totally surprised me by dropping this off on Friday at my folks’. Custom cross stitch of my logo! All the heart eyes. I can’t wait to hang it when I get back home.
