Well, y’all… I said I wasn’t going to join in on any challenges for 2017 — aside from the Goodreads Challenge, of course. But, I’ve caved. I’ve decided I will do the Rock My TBR Reading Challenge again in 2017. It was one of my most successful challenges in 2016 — er, even if I stopped keeping track somewhere along the way. I have big plans to knock several more books off my TBR this year, so this challenge really is a perfect fit.
I’m keeping things simple in 2017, so my goal for this challenge is to read two books from my TBR each month. Of course, it would be FANTASTIC if I read more than that, but I’ll be happy with two per month.
Unlike last year, I’m not going to share a list of the books I plan to read at this point. I never stick to it and, honestly, I’d prefer to continue my mood-reading (aka reading whatever the hell I want) and not feel guilty for not reading from the list. (Which, coincidentally, I read 9/25 in 2016. So you see why I’m not bothering with a reading list.) I’d prefer to allow my mood — and features like TBR Thursday and My TBR List drive my picks.
I’ll be sharing my updates in my monthly That’s a Wrap posts, so keep an eye out to see if I’m meeting my goal… and which books I’m reading along the way!
