I’m so excited to be participating in the tour for Meghan Quinn’s latest, Stroked Long, today! I haven’t been reading Meghan for all that long now – in fact, this is only my second book – but she’s quickly become one of my favorite authors! And this book? Pure gold.

From his dirty-blond hair and breathtaking smile, to the abs from heaven and the irresistible V in his waistline, everything about Bodi Olympic-gold-medalist Banks screams hot piece of @$$.
Yet there’s more.
Dark shadows lurk behind his soulful, serious eyes.
I’m enamored. He’s captured me.
How can running an art foundation with Bodi Banks turns into a slow-burning, epic romance, even though he tries to push me away at every chance? How can I stay away from a broken, routine-driven man whose soul cries to be forgiven for a crime only he believes he committed? Or is that a lie?
I received a complimentary copy of this book for review consideration.
This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Man. This book. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started this one. Sure, I was excited for more of Meghan’s humor, heart and sexy times, but I seriously underestimated the depth and amount of the feels Bodi and Ruby would give me. Bodi, especially. One of my new favorite book boys right here, y’all.
After finishing Stroked, I’d already decided I was excited for Bodi’s story. He was such a unique character. I couldn’t wait to see what his story would bring. There’s no way I could’ve predicted he would be as vulnerable and broken as he was though. But my gods, what an amazing, heartbreakingly complex character. While there’s no doubt that Bodi is what made the story for me, I can’t disregard Ruby. I really did like her. She was funny and awkward and quirky. Her artistic streak ran deep and she was a surprisingly perfect match for the rigid, compulsive Bodi. Their chemistry from the very beginning was intense. There’s no way these two were going to remain just friends. Their connection ran so much deeper than that.
Stroked Long was one of those books that absolutely grabbed me from the first chapter – and, if I’m honest, broke my freaking heart from the beginning. But, I’m not going to get into all that because really, you’re best going in as blind as possible. The best way to experience this book is to truly feel your way through it without any spoilers. I enjoyed the first book in the Stroked series. However, I LOVED this one. It’s gonna be a tough one to top because it was the perfect balance of humor and sexy times, feels and swoons. There’s not a single thing I would change about this one. All that said, I am still obviously looking forward to Stroked Hard. It’s going to be great to finally find out what’s been building between Hollis and Melony. And, of course, to see Bellini finally get what’s coming to her.
He’s so handsome. He’s so broken. He’s so tempting.
I’m complicated. I’m particular. I’m broken. I don’t want to bring someone into my kind of crazy. It wouldn’t be fair to them and if I tried to hide it, I know it would come out at some point.
“But if you must know, everything about him is gorgeous, Mom. Not just his looks, but his mind, his soul—no matter how torn apart it might be right now.”
Love should mend a soul, not rip it to shreds, but I guess that’s what someone like me deserves.
“Be a man, Bodi. Be a man and love the fuck out of her.”
