Valentine's Day Book Tag

I wasn’t officially tagged for The Valentines Day Book Tag, but I couldn’t resist when I saw Grace’s post over at Rebel Mommy Book Blog. Thanks to CC’s Books for creating it!

Standalone book you love

I'll Meet You There

If you read YA contemporary and you’ve not read this book, you NEED TO. It was one of my favorites of 2014 and I’m itching to reread it now.

Dystopian book you love

The Wicked We Have Done

Sarah Harian’s Chaos Theory series is SO FREAKING GOOD. But, I need more books. Like, ASAP.

A Book That You Love But No One Else Talks About

Ok, it’s not that NO ONE talks about this book and the series, it’s just that NOT NEARLY ENOUGH people talk about it. With its 90s references, laugh out loud moments and swoony romance, this book (and the author) quickly hit my favorites list(s). It’s not for the faint of heart because it will rip yours out and stomp on it a few times during the three books, but IT IS SO WORTH IT IN THE END.

Favorite book couple

The Score

Just one couple?! I’ll go with one of my most recent. I LOVE Dean & Allie. They were so perfectly matched and I loved how much he changed once they met.

Book That Other People Love But You Haven’t Gotten Around to Reading

Throne of Glass

Again, I ask… just one?! LOL. You’ve seen my TBR, right? I’ll choose one of my most shameful ones. At this point? I’ll just wait for the series to be complete.

A book with red on the cover

Dirty Rowdy Thing

Can’t get much more red than this. Plus, Finn. <3

A book with pink on the cover

Faking It

It’s tough to pick a favorite Cora Carmack book, but if I had to, Faking It would probably win. I love Cade. I love Max. And, I love the pink on the cover. 😉

You were given a box of chocolate what fictional boyfriend would have given them to you?

Hothouse Flower

Ryke Meadows. Unquestionably.

You are Single on Valentine’s Day. What book would you read? What TV show would you watch? What movie would you watch?

You're Still the One Buffy the Vampire Slayer Pitch Perfect

I AM single on Valentine’s Day, so this is what I’ll be doing this year. 😉 A sweet romance, a little slaying of demons/vampires (and smexy Spike scenes) and laugh out loud comedy… with singing.

You are in the book store. All of a sudden you get shot with an arrow by Cupid. What new release will you love?

I Wish You Were Mine

Let’s just pretend you’d find this book on the shelves and that it’s not out on eBook only. It’s definitely high on my list of favorite recent releases.

Yessssss read them all! All-time favorites, but for very different reasons. Pitch Perfect is hilarious. I love that movie. The second one was good, but not as good as the first!

You should definitely read Remember When! Especially if you enjoy funny, romantic books (and don’t mind a little angst). It’s so good. Chaos Theory is fantastic. My only complaint is the wait between parts was too long… but if you binge now, you won’t have that problem. And hopefully she releases another book in the series. It needs it. And there’s nothing on Goodreads, which is mildly concerning. But, seriously, excellent *New Adult* dystopian.
