Now that I’m back home and life is getting back to normal (kinda) I can finally join in this awesome new meme! It’s the brainchild of Jessica of Lovin’ los libros and features a Must Read, a Must Listen and a Must See. I just love this idea!

This full-length novel by debut author Natalie Blitt is a pitch-perfect blend of Stephanie Perkins and Miranda Kenneally that proves the age-old adage: opposites attract.
Seventeen-year old Abby has only one goal for her summer: to make sure she is fluent in French—well, that, and to get as far away from baseball and her Cubs-obsessed family as possible. A summer of culture and language, with no sports in sight.
That turns out to be impossible, though, because her French partner is the exact kind of boy she was hoping to avoid. Eight weeks. 120 hours of class. 80 hours of conversation practice with someone who seems to exclusively wear baseball caps and jerseys.
But Zeke in French is a different person than Zeke in English. And Abby can’t help but fall for him, hard. As Abby begins to suspect that Zeke is hiding something, she has to decide if bridging the gap between the distance between who she is and who he is, is worth the risk.
You’ll find my review here a little later this week, but until then I just have to say how much I LOVED THIS BOOK! I started it last night and had to force myself to go to sleep because all I wanted to do was keep reading. It was enchanting and sweet and swoony and I want more of Abby and Zeke. <3 <3
The author wants to give readers more, too. All she’s asking for is reviews on Amazon. She’s agreed to post extras when she hits 30, 50 and 100 reviews. We gotta shoot for 100 y’all, because I want the epilogue. You will too, once you read this book! (And really… read it.)
Is it kind of weird for me to start with a song that both years old and really sad? Well, sorry not sorry. Here’s the thing… I just started listening to country music again within the last year or so, so I have a lot of catching up to do. I’m discovering new favorites every day. Sometimes they’re fun songs… sometimes they’re sad. I’ve just been obsessed with this one (and, if I’m honest, all things Luke Bryan) lately and I had to share.
I guess this is kind of a “see” too and, well, who doesn’t like looking at Luke Bryan?!
I had to think long and hard about what to share here. Should it be a funny video or picture? Something meaningful? The possibilities are endless! I decided to go share the contents of my Julep Mystery Box. I loooooove the tote and the nail polish colors. GLITTER! It was a perfect indulgence for me after a rough week last week at convention and at $24.99 it wasn’t a budget breaker. I’m such a nail polish addict.
