One of my biggest guilty pleasures during the winter months – and especially the weeks leading up to Christmas – is holiday-themed romance novels (or novellas). I love ’em sweet, sexy and even a little bit cheesy. There’s nothing quite like reading one while drinking a mug of hot cocoa near your Christmas tree. They always bring a smile to my face.
Today I’m highlighting ten such titles, just in time for you to add them to your own holiday reading list.
FIVE HOLIDAY ROMANCES I’VE READ AND LOVED
If I Return & Christmas Catch : In 2013, a bunch of my favorite new adult authors released the 12 NAs of Christmas and I was in heaven. I didn’t get around to reading all of them, but I really enjoyed the ones I did read. I hope to finish up the rest of them this year, since I did buy all of them. It seems like a great number of standalone holiday romances are all about the second chances and I LOVE that. (You know it’s one of my favorite tropes.)
All I Need and All or Nothing : Caisey Quinn and Lexi Ryan are two of my favorite authors and I loved their stories in the Abbott Springs Anthology – which are now available to purchase separately. (And they’re all really good!)
Baby, It’s Cold Outside : While I didn’t finish all of this one (I was listening to the audiobook), I really enjoyed Jennifer, Emma and Kristen’s stories. They were great additions to the existing series. I hope to finish up the other stories this year.
FIVE HOLIDAY ROMANCES I’M GOING TO READ THIS YEAR
A Wallflower Christmas : I’ve been waiting to read this book since I read the series for the first time earlier this year. Soon, my pretty. Soon.
Season of Second Chances : A second chance story from Brighton Walsh, one of my favorite authors? YES. I can’t wait. Why didn’t I read this last year?
A Christmas to Remember : I love Jill Shalvis and Kristen Ashley – both are “new to me” authors this year – so I absolutely have to make time to read at least their stories.
All for You : I’m not entirely sure why I didn’t read this book back in 2013 when it was first released. I love Marquita’s writing and the Boys of the South series. Super excited to remember this one!
Midnight Mass : *Sings “One of these things is not like the other…”* I can only imagine what kind of hot and dirty fun Father Bell and Poppy will find themselves up to in Midnight Mass. I’m so excited to dip back into the world of Priest, one of my favorite reads of 2015. (Though this is NOT a book for everyone. Truly.)
