Who needs Mr. Right when you can have the perfect Mr. Wrong?
Ryder Diamond-the town's golden boy-doesn't have time for taking chances, let alone love. Against his better judgment, he lets his buddies set him up on a blind date with a girl who's only passing through town. But temporary or not, Whitney James sets fire to desires he can't control.
Before they know it, Ryder and Whitney are in a supply closet, drowning in lust. She's only in town for the summer-what better way to spend it than in the arms of Mr. Perfect? Except, she's wild and free, and he's Mr. Stability. Which means he may as well be Mr. Wrong.
And her new job? It's with Ryder's sister.
Sex and the inability to keep their hands off each other are the only things they have in common. But this little hook-up has "disaster" written all over it...and the only way Ryder can save his reputation is by avoiding the sweet little firecracker who could ruin it all.
Entangled’s Brazen imprint is my go-to when I’m in the mood for a short, sexy book with some serious steam. When it comes to this line, Joya Ryan is definitely one of my auto-buy (or auto-request, in this case) authors. Not only are her books hot as hell, I like that they offer some feels, too.
In this book, golden boy Ryder has his patience (as well as desires and heart) tested by newcomer Whitney. Who doesn’t love a good fling? Especially when the characters have CRAZY chemistry, fantastic banter and super hot sexy times? Oh, and of course, an expiration date. And you know what? It was all FUN. Their first hook up had me *literally* fanning myself and it just got better from there. This was a fun match up.
I really liked both Ryder and Whitney. I liked how different they were. Ryder was regimented and reserved. Whitney was anything but. She was a free-spirited wanderer. I wasn’t sure how a match between them would work, but oh did it ever. I liked watching things build between them, even as they were both fighting it. Of course there was some drama, but it wasn’t overly-angsty. It was just enough to give me the feels I want when I’m reading a book like this.
I’ve enjoyed every single book in the Chasing Love series. I love the small town setting and the way the characters are interconnected. I thought Chasing Mr. Wrong was a great addition to the series. I devoured it in one sitting without any regrets.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.
