Booking Through Summer Author Spotlight: First Five Books on My eReader Right Now by Elle Kennedy

Happy Wednesday! I’m so excited about this week’s spotlight (spotlighted? whatever!) author!

Lemme just say this – if you’ve not read one of Elle Kennedy’s books, you’re missing out on a whole lot of awesome. Elle is a relatively new author to ME personally, having first picked up one of her books shortly before the release of The Deal, but I’ve been bingeing the hell out of her books since. I spent a week in April obsessed with her Killer Instincts romantic suspense series, Killer Instincts. (And, honestly, I’m still obsessed and counting the days until the next book is available.) If you’re a Brazen fan, you’re sure to enjoy her After Hours series. And let’s not forget Him, her M/M romance collaboration with Sarina Bowen. It’s one of my favorite books of this year. She still has an extensive (and smokin’ hot) backlist I’ve yet to tackle, but it’s coming soon! Elle definitely has a little of something for you, no matter what type of books you enjoy! 🙂

Now Elle talks to us about some of the books she’s reading now (or, soon)! Enjoy!

Elle Kennedy here! I haven’t been able to find much time for reading this summer, and that makes me sad because I love to read, darn it. I try not to overload my Kindle with too many TBR books, because seeing all the unread titles frustrates me and makes me feel guilty for not finding more time to dig into the pile. So, as of this morning, these are the titles currently waiting for me, and my reasoning for why they’re there  🙂

Captive, Brighton Walsh (halfway through this one—loving it so far!)

Losing It, Cora Carmack (Just finished CC’s Rusk University series, so now I’m digging into her backlist)

I Hated, Hated, Hated This Movie, Roger Ebert (I like bad movies and I like Ebert’s reviews)

Long Time Gone, Lorelei James (Love the Rough Riders series, so each book is an auto-buy for me)

Little Women, Louisa May Alcott (which I’ve read a million times in print, but finally downloaded the digital copy because I wanted to read it in my dentist’s waiting room)

Thanks for stopping by, Elle! We definitely enjoy some of the same type of books! 🙂 If you want to learn more, you can visit her website or find her on GoodreadsFacebook and Twitter!
