Spell it out challenge

I have a short name. 🙂 I did a couple outtakes with my blog name, but I don’t like the photos. So, I’m sticking with Kim.

  1. I can’t believe no one has commented yet! This was so fun 🙂 Thank you so much! I wish I owned all the books I used in this so I could’ve taken the picture. I listed them instead. Your photo turned out beautiful though.

I loved this challenge, it was good! I didn’t really make a graphic, just used a picture of the books I used…and a list. 🙂

  3. This was a lot of fun! I’ve also realized that I don’t own any mass market sized books that start with a “Y”, and I feel like I need to correct that somehow… I wanted to spell the middle part of my blog name is mass markets, but that threw a wrench in my plan. Anyways, thanks for the challenge!!

  4. Liked it, but since I don’t have any books with E and I with me, it’s kind of hard to spell out Irene 😛 So I just used some that I own, but don’t have with me, to spell it out 🙂

  5. Simple is key with these challenges, and that was the beauty of this spell it out book spine one! One of my favourites so far. The only difficult thing was selecting what word to use – my home city Liverpool was what I went with. I could make good use of the extensive book collection we have in our house, and I could use some interesting titles. Thanks for hosting 🙂

I did my name, took me a long time to find the letter “L”.

Thanks you for the challenge and the giveaway!

  7. Make Kay

I spelled my name- Make- with
My Lady, My Lord by Katharine Ashe
A Midnight Dance by Lila DiPasqua
King and Queens of England tiny reference book
Edge of Light by Joan Wolf

  8. Make Kay

This was hard, because I wanted to find books to spell my name, but most of my books are now ebooks since I downsized last year!

  9. It was fun, I wanted to do my Name or my Birth month but I didn’t have any books that started with a U and a Y. I ended up doing my Zodiac sign, LEO.

  10. Oh, I did not make my posts 2 separate posts. Sorry! I did both the Update AND the Challenge in the SAME POST. Well, I learned. This is my FIRST Read-A-Thon with you! It was FUN! Thank God Goodreads helped me out!!
    LOVE the Challenges!

I really liked this challenge. It was a blast going through all my books looking for the Letter L for my name. It was actually harder to find than any other letter. Thanks for doing this one!

  12. I actually had a LOT of fun with this challenge! I didn’t do yesterday’s challenges because, to be honest, they didn’t appeal to me. This on the other hand seemed fun and challenging! It took a while to find a couple letters but that made it all the more interesting. Thanks for hosting such a fun challenge! 🙂

  13. Thanks for hosting this challenge! I hadn’t done one spelling out my name before! It’s surprising how differently I look at my books when I’m searching for a book starting in a certain letter. I chose from books that I haven’t read yet, but am hoping to read over the next few months 🙂
