My rating:

A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

She has a plan. He’s about to change it.

Regan Wakefield is a headhunter in both name and personality: driven, motivated, and unafraid to pursue what—and who—she wants. Naturally, she’s thrilled when her friend's wedding offers her an opportunity to score Logan McCade, the practically perfect best man. Unfortunately, groomsman Brock McNeil keeps getting in her way, riling her up in the most delicious of ways. But Brock’s smooth southern charm isn't part of the how exactly did they end up having searing-hot sex?

Regan may pretend the erotic electricity sparking between them is merely a distraction, but Brock knows better. She refuses to see beyond the devil-may-care façade he presents to the world, while he sees straight through hers. Changing her mind—and getting under her skin—is a challenge he can’t resist. And when he wins, Brock will do whatever it takes to convince Regan that the best man for her is him.

In Review My Thoughts

Regan Wakefield has a plan. She’s a successful headhunter with a great career, but now she’s looking for something to go along with it – a serious relationship. When she gets into the “wedding dare” with her friends, her intention is to bag Logan McCade, the perfect best man. He’s successful, driven and hot. He would make the perfect mate for a firecracker like Regan. Logan is sexy and all, but Regan has blisteringly hot chemistry with Brock McNeil. She tries to deny it, deny him, but there’s no way around the attraction they feel for each other. He doesn’t fit into her plan, but he could be exactly what she needs. He’s determined to break through her facade and make her see how great they could be together.

My favorite part of this book was the banter between Regan and Brock. They were seriously explosive – in and out of the bedroom. Much like the other novels in this series, Seducing the Bridesmaid was sexy. It also had quite a few heartwarming “awwww” moments thrown in as well. The characters were both tough, but likable, and I couldn’t help but root for them. This is my first Katee Robert book, but it won’t be my last.

If you’re looking for a great, sexy adult standalone series, I can’t recommend this one highly enough. I’ve read several Brazen titles, but I’ve never read an entire series yet. I tend to stick with the ones written by authors whose work I’m familiar with. This series has made me see the error of my ways. I’m definitely missing out on something. I thoroughly enjoyed the way all the characters appeared in each novel, giving another perspective to the pairings and the individual characters. These stories all meshed really well together and that’s one of the things I enjoyed most about each of the books individually and the series as a whole.

About Katee Robert

Katee Robert learned to tell stories at her grandpa’s knee. Her favorites then were the rather epic adventures of The Three Bears, but at age twelve she discovered romance novels and never looked back.

Though she dabbled in writing, life got in the way—as it often does—and she spent a few years traveling, living in both Philadelphia and Germany. In between traveling and raising her two wee ones, she had the crazy idea that she’d like to write a book and try to get published.

Her first novel was an epic fantasy that, God willing, will never see the light of day. From there, she dabbled in YA and horror, before finally finding speculative romance. Because, really, who wouldn’t want to write entire books about the smoking-hot relationships between two people?

She now spends her time—when not lost in Far Reach worlds—playing imaginary games with her wee ones, writing, ogling men, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

  1. Banter is really important in making a book work. I love it when the characters go back and forth and it adds to their relationship and the story. I will definitely check out this book!
