Fall to You is the second book in the Here and Now series. It is not a stand-alone and is intended to be read following Lost in Me. Hanna’s story concludes in book three, All for This.
Torn between two men…
When I woke up after the accident, I couldn’t remember anything from the last year—including my relationship with Max Hallowell or anything about Nate Crane. Now my memories are returning, but instead of answering my questions, they’re leaving me with more.
The man who broke my heart and wants to be my future…
Max is all I ever wanted, and now he wants to marry me. He’ll do everything he can to fill my life with love, family, and security. I need those things now more than ever. But can I trust him?
The man who stole my heart and wants to let me go…
Nate never made me promises, and I never asked him to. I’d been on the rebound, looking for a distraction, and he made me feel beautiful and wanted when I needed to feel those things most. He says he has to let me go, but what if I can’t let go of him?
With every revelation and every passing day, I feel more like Alice down the rabbit hole. I’m falling. Who will catch me?
I’m not even sure how to review this book without spoiling anything. This review will be short and vague, but that’s only because I don’t want to spoil anything. But seriously, holy crap. If you’re a fan of sexy new adult romances with a bit of mystery and you’ve NOT picked this series up yet, DO IT NOW.
Fall to You picks up shortly after the GINORMOUS bomb that is dropped in Lost in Me. But the surprises don’t end there. I say I don’t like books with love triangles, but between you and me? I kinda love them… sometimes. Yes, they’re frustrating. Yes, I’m always shipping one pairing over another. But I can’t help getting totally sucked into them. I love Hanna, even though I wanted to smack her in this book at least a few times. I can’t blame her for being torn between Max and Nate, though there’s absolutely no competition in my mind. (Team Nate. All. The. Way.) This book took many surprising twists and had me completely captivated from start to finish. Lexi took me through the entire range of emotions in Fall to You and I couldn’t even think about putting it down until I finished it. And then? The cliffhanger? OMG. I had my fingers crossed that what happened would happen, but when it did, it still blew my mind. Is it August yet? Because I can’t even begin to tell you how badly I need to know what happens next.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
