Have you ever thought of taking a vacation alone? I mean step on a plane, check into your hotel, and lie on the beach completely and utterly alone. No? Me either, but then right before senior spring break I got dumped.
Something about break ups makes you do things you didn’t want to do, and try things you didn’t know you were capable of.
That’s how I ended up at the Palm Palace.
That’s how I met Grey.
That’s how my spring break turned into the most unforgettable week of my life.
Kissing Eden was a fun and sexy book! I read it cover to cover (so to speak) in the matter of about an hour and a half because I couldn’t walk away from it.
Freshly dumped by a serious jerk and having pretty much every single travel drama possible en route to Texas, Eden was just looking for a hotel room. What she found instead was Grey, a moody guy who she thought was the handyman at a definitely NOT five-star resort. The more Eden learns about Grey, the more she is intrigued by him. They end up sharing a moment of sorts during a beach party and that sets the stage for more of a relationship to build and a spring break Eden definitely wasn’t expecting.
Both Eden and Grey were both far from perfect. She was a bit high-maintenance. He was pretty closed off and could be a bit of a jerk at times, but together they were fantastic. And there was a lot more to both of them than what met the eye. While they didn’t get off on the best foot on their first meeting, there was an undeniable spark from the first moment they laid eyes on each other. Their connection grew quickly and was pretty intense over a short period of time.
I love “fling” books. This one was sexy and sweet and I really did like both of the characters quite a bit, despite their faults. They brought out the best in each other and I enjoyed seeing each of them grow over the course of their week together. I wasn’t sure how this one would end and I’m certainly not going to spoil it for you, but I did have a big, goofy grin on my face at the end.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
