I’m always excited to learn Sarina Bowen is writing a new book. With Temporary I was doubly excited because she co-wrote with Sarah Mayberry, which meant I had a chance to discover another new-to-me author.
It’s been ages since I read an Abbi Glines book, but with the release of the third Field Party book looming, I decided it was time to get caught up.
After loving the first two books in Kristen Proby’s Fusion series, I was really looking forward to reading Blush for Me when it was released. Sadly, it fell victim to my constant “too many books, too little time” struggle.

Alisha Rai’s Hate to Want You was one part second chance romance, one part forbidden love and it 100% made me wonder why I haven’t read any of her books sooner.
I’m a total sucker for the friends first trope. Add in friends with benefits and a hero that’s all in, well, I couldn’t pass it by… and I’m glad I didn’t.
Sports romance is one of my favorite tropes — especially when we’re talking football. And, since we’re in that time of the year where I’m devouring all the football books while I wait for the new season to start, I was even more excited.
